Taqwa Media LLC is a print and digital publishing, marketing and distribution company. Established in September 2012, Taqwa Media’s vision is to share the message of God-consciousness (taqwa) using state-of-the-art technology. Our company provides an opportunity for independent publishers and authors to disseminate their works through our growing distribution network. We also offer the opportunity for brick and mortar bookstores, online stores and religious organizations to purchase these books at wholesale prices. In addition, Taqwa Media customers can purchase books in print and digital format from several online retail websites.
Dr. Farooq Bandali
Farooq earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has 13 years of experience in pharmacy. Farooq has also furthered his education by pursuing coursework in business. Although he is very passionate about his career, his life purpose is to learn and share the message of God-consciousness. Through his work in pharmacy, Farooq has acquired valuable skills to analyze, develop and implement innovative ideas. In addition, his communication, interpersonal and leadership skills allow him to collaborate with others and move the vision of Taqwa Media forward.
In 2000, Sajida graduated with a degree in Business Management from State University of New York (SUNY) Old Westbury. Over the last 12 years, she has worked in the publishing industry as a manager at Tahrike Tarsile Qur’an (TTQ). At TTQ, Sajida lead major initiatives, increased sales and revenue, managed budgets and trained personnel. With more than a decade of expertise in the publishing industry, Sajida brings valuable skills to publish, market and distribute for Taqwa Media.
In addition to the executive members, Taqwa Media’s team consists of seven advisors who are established scholars, academicians and businessmen. The advisors play a key role in assisting with Taqwa Media’s vision, mission, goals and strategy. The roles and responsibilities of the advisors include assisting with content review, evaluating marketing material from Islamic and business perspectives, determining the educational needs of the community and developing a global network of individuals to achieve Taqwa Media’s vision.
